Rinktinės pasiekimai:

Lietuvos studentų fechtavimo čempionai (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018), vicečempionai (2019, 2020)

Lietuvos studentų fechtavimo čempionato bronza (2016, 2017)

 

Rinktinės istorija:

Pirmą kartą fechtavimo varžybos universitete buvo suorganizuotos 1949-aisiais. Jos sulaukė didelio susidomėjimo ir nuo to laiko fechtavimosi meną įvaldė didelis VU studentų būrys. Tuomet trenerio J. Timonovo vadovaujami Vilniaus universiteto fechtuotojai tapo vieni stipriausių mieste, o ilgainiui - ir Respublikoje.
