FORMAT

Recreational orienteering competition running or walking;

Course completion time – up to 90 minutes;

Free order of collecting control points (CPs);

A team consists of 1 to 10 participants.

Mass start.

PUNCHING SYSTEM

Punching is done using smartphones by scanning QR codes with the OMaps app. Each team must have one smart device.

CATEGORIES

Two classifications apply in the game: individual and team. Categories are divided by the number of participants – in the individual category the team consists of 1 person, in the team category – 2 or more persons. Teams are not divided by gender or age.

REGISTRATION

Advance registration is required! Registration is open until 2026-03-26 at 23:59 by filling in the application form HERE. The application must include the team name, email address, phone number, and number of team members. On-site registration is possible only if maps are still available.

ENTRY FEE

Participation in the game is free of charge.

DETERMINATION OF WINNERS

The team that collects the most points wins.

Each control point has a designated point value.

In case of a tie, the team that completes the course faster wins.

Team members must stay together (no more than 100 m apart).

If a team finishes late (after 13:30), 10 points are deducted for each minute late.

AWARDS

The top 3 teams with the highest scores will be awarded. An additional 5 teams will be awarded by lottery, regardless of their course completion time.

The award ceremony will take place 15 minutes after the scheduled finish time.

EQUIPMENT

Each team must have one mobile phone with the mobile application installed. It is recommended to bring a good mood and energy, a compass, a backpack, a map measurer or ruler, water, and snacks.

SAFETY

Participants are responsible for their own health and safety. The game takes place in an urban area; therefore, organizers warn of increased safety risks – traffic will not be stopped, and there will be no assistance or judges on the course. During the game, traffic rules must be followed. If a traffic violation is recorded by the organizers, the team will be disqualified. By registering, the participant confirms that they participate at their own risk, take full responsibility for their health, are familiar with the game rules, and know and will comply with traffic regulations.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

By participating in the game, I agree to the purposes and conditions of data processing set out in the Vilnius University privacy policy. Participants may be photographed and filmed during the event.
