Vilnius univeristy orienteering sport coach Romualdas Kniukšta shared a great track in Saulėtekis forest near VU stadium. Start point is near the entrance to the VU stadium, one will find a map also hanging there. Track marked in red strips is 1.7 km long. Track is in the forest, safe to run and walk because no road is needed to be crossed while exploring it. All track is located near the stadium so it is hard to get lost. Coach reminds that "If the distance is too short for you, run or walk it as many times round as you wish! And do not hesitate to use stationary outdoor equipment in the stadium or run a few more circles on running tracks." So grab your sneakers and bottle of water and try the track!
