March 21 the Interfaculty table tennis Competition for Rector’s Prize broke out, where 7 teams gathered to test their strength. It is good that, continuing the long-standing and beautiful traditions, this sport remains popular among students even today.
After more than 4 hours of alternating battles, the winners and prize winners were announced.
The first place was won by the team of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration: Šimon Lukša, Vanesa Ražinskytė and Nojus Štilinis.
The second place was won by the team of the Faculty of Philosophy: Adomas Zabelevičius, Meida Sereikaitė and Simonas Lapis.
The third place was won by the joint team of the Faculties of History and Philology: Karolina Kuznetsova, Elzė Danilkevičiūtė and Domanas Kalinas.
We would like to thank all the athletes for the beautiful competition and the coach of the VU table tennis team Džiuljeta Liepinaitiene for the excellent organization and coordination.
