Pilates for Beginners Coach Teresė Gritėnienė |
Mondays 16:00–16:45 Saulėtekio av. 2, Dance Hall |
Taking care of your health encourages a new approach to exercising and a deeper understanding of your body. It helps you start paying attention to posture, understand the correct position of the spine, and recognize which movements may cause back pain. This unique system of exercises requires a completely different type of muscle work than in the gym. Beginners will get acquainted with the basics of the method: breathing, body alignment, movement control, and will learn basic Pilates exercises that can be applied in everyday life. |
Pilates Coach Gritėnienė |
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 17:30–18:15 Saulėtekio av. 2, Dance Hall |
The training focuses on strengthening the musculoskeletal system and improving spinal health by combining strength and flexibility exercises. Special attention is also given to training the deep muscles and fascia, which directly affect our health, movement quality, and posture. Pilates is suitable for everyone, as its versatility lies in the fact that exercises can be modified—either simplified or made more challenging—depending on each person’s individual abilities and health condition. By strengthening the muscles, elasticity and joint mobility improve, while proper posture and body stability are restored. The sessions are conducted using small Pilates equipment. |
