A unique opportunity to discover running
The Health and Sports Center is teaming up with the leader of the nut and dried fruit market in the Baltic States, "Arimex," and invites University students and staff to train together and conquer a 5 or 10 km distance in the Vilnius Half Marathon on May 24th.
Why should you participate?
Have you never run before, or do you run occasionally but would like to start training regularly and learn running techniques? This initiative is perfect for you! Training participants will receive professional advice from VU running coach Dr. J. Armonienė, which will help you start running or improve your running technique. Currently, we can accommodate up to 70 participants for training, so the supportive VU community will motivate you to achieve your goals together. Regular running not only strengthens the body but also improves emotional well-being, enhances stress resistance, helps with relaxation, and reduces tension.
REGISTRATION
The project starts on March 24th – this two-month journey is a great opportunity to gain new skills completely for free, as the project is funded by the "Arimex" name's untouchable capital subfund, aimed at promoting mobility and supporting health initiatives for the VU community.
