HISTORY
Team History
Modern volleyball was first played by Americans in 1895, and this sport only arrived in Lithuania in 1928. This attractive and exciting team sport soon took root at Vilnius University, especially thriving when young but experienced specialists in the sport—S. Batoras, S. Kričala, and A. Tulko—began coaching the students.
