VU community member, how are you? Are you experiencing any stress these days? Here is an event for you!

This seminar is for VU bachelor and master students who want to learn to control their reactions during stress. We will discuss two ways to help you manage stress more effectively:

1. Thinking correction methods. You will learn how our thinking processes works - how troubled thoughts, thinking errors arise, how negative thinking provokes feelings of tension, and techniques to adjust your thinking. You will also learn the techniques to stop, change and direct your thoughts.

2. Mindfulness practices. During the seminar, you will learn how these practices can develop your concentration, reduce physical and emotional discomfort caused by stress, improve sleep quality, and help you make decisions less dependent on emotions.

The seminar will take place on the 2nd of April at 3 pm on Microsoft Teams.
